Prayer and Worship
The mission of Assumption College for Sisters is sustained and nurtured by an atmosphere of prayer.
Daily Mass is celebrated for the resident students on campus in the chapel of Morris Catholic High School. Students are encouraged to take an active part as lectors, musicians, singers, and Ministers of the Eucharist.
Seasonal liturgical devotions are incorporated into the daily prayer of the Church, the Liturgy of the Hours. Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer are recited in common Monday through Friday.
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament occurs on a daily basis.
Throughout the Assumption College for Sisters Convent there is a religious atmosphere, conducive to the nurturing of the students’ spiritual life.
